Middle designers work much more independently. They can manage projects within their area of expertise, contribute ideas, and make informed design decisions without constant direction.
Senior designers do much more than produce outstanding work. They mentor teammates, challenge ideas, contribute to strategy, and take responsibility for the success of a project as a whole.
Their focus shifts from creating designs to solving problems through design.
The Lead Designer sets the creative direction for the team. They oversee quality across projects, support the development of other designers, and ensure every creative decision aligns with the client's objectives.
Their role is to connect design, strategy, and business into one coherent vision.
